My name is Lisa Milnes-Thurling.
I currently live in a small coastal village Telegraph Point NSW
I am a self taught Artist, inspired by the oceans and the rugged terrains of the Australian Eastern coastlines.
I turned to Art a few years ago as a form of therapy ,I then became deeply inspired to paint more
Art Therapy, to me, has been a saviour in managing my mental health.
Most of my paintings are mixed media and are created literally by hand with textured gels, pastes and paints poured and wiped into oceans or landscapes.
With calming music playing and hands in paints, this is soul food to me.
I paint to heal, to live and to share my creations, which in turn has become a small business

One of my current projects is creating my Earth Feel jewellery range made with handcrafted one of a kind Polymer Clay pendants.
The pendants are painted in earth coloured micas and acrylic paint
